Does anyone know how to enable graphics setting such as Anti-Aliasing, Anistropic Filtering, Vsync and Trible Buffering? Thanks! (I'm going to assume for the moment that advanced settings eg temporalAA are out of the question)

It all depends on what video card you use. For NVIDIA, I believe it is all described in the README which comes with NVIDIA drivers.

If you have a nvidia card you can install the program nvidia-settings
