here i am with my last question for today :)
i don't know why when i run all the games i have installed in my ubuntu for ibook, the 3D acceleration works, but i can't run the games full screen, but only inside a window. even if i maximize the window, the game area remains small.
do you know why?
i have a 9200 radeon on my ibook, the drivers was automatically detected from ubuntu, i think it's using radeon driver of course, but i will check it to be sure tonight :)
thank you a lot bye!

A few more details about which games you're trying to run full-screened would be appreciated. A number of games donot require OpenGL capabilities and 3D accelaration; they may also not include the option to be displayed fullscreen. So, more information would be nice.

i didn't write any title because yesterday I apt-getted about 30 games so they are a lot :D
anyway, I remeber that for example frozen bubble and tuxracer doesn't run full screen, and i remember that with my previous pc i didn't have any problem with the fullscreen! ;) :(
ciao!

Well, I can't report any success with that either. I installed Frozen Bubble and ran into a problem with Full-screening it - the display is totally warped. Comes back to normal when I reduce it back to window-mode. So... sorry. Besides, I suspect that your iBook is of a much newer generation than my Powerbook Pismo and my results wouldn't have much of a bearing on yours.
