View Full Version : Are KDE apps eligible for backporting?

I've just switched over to KDE for various reasons.
I looked through the Backport repos again and I don't see any (missed?) KDE app backports. If there is something KDE-ish available from the Breezy repos, is it OK to ask if it can be backported for Hoary?
Thanks!

Well I had asked for Basket (http://basket.kde.org) to be backported a while back and got good feedback. However, the backported version hasn't made it to the repositories yet, so I'm not sure.

KDE stuff in Breezy are welcome additions in Hoary.
Basket: darn, that's what I've forgotten in the heat of the ubp-build.py development.
I'll get that now.

Great, thanks jdong!
Now I've just got to recover my Kubuntu installation after my compiling the Matrox driver for my P650 card broke X (*heads back to the broken computer*).
