can I run counter strike source on my ubuntu os?

First of all the title of your post should be somehow longer, because CSS means more than just counterstrike (I whould never have thought about a game...), e.g.
Cascading Style Sheets
Content Scrambling System
...

So please use a more meaningful title the next time!

And regarding your question: yes, if there is a Linux-Version available.

But to answer the question, yes you can play CS:S on linux using cedega. I think it runs a lot slower in linux due to having to run steam etc, but I hear it does work and is possible.

I have the game also and might try it sometime altho I've not got to play CS:S yet as it seems to want to download updates for nearly an hour.

But nevertheless the title of the thread is very.... let's say "short".
