I am currently enrolled in communtiy college trying to get a degree in computer programming and it seems like it isnt going where i thought it would. Now this college is offering technical certification classes and they have a complete series now with certs for A+ networking, securit + , and help desk. This seems like it would be a better choice and it could be done in a shorter time. All day of computer classes only unlike now I take pstch, algebra, history. I dont know much on programming and dont even know if I would like a career in it, but I currently work on computer repai and I been getting really into it. What does anyone think especially for a career outlook? Thanks for your opinions.

I think go with your interest. Most importantly, take some Part-time course to see if you enjoy them. No course is going to be a waste until you don't put effort in it. I would say computing will never die in the short future and there is certainly jobs availalbe somewhere.
