Hi,

Haven't scrabble on Linux...it's funny 'cuz they've done Sudoku, Mahjong and Poker on Linux but no scrabbles?

My uncle started an email Scrabble game (through emailscrabble.net). Has anyone been able to get it to work under Linux (so I don't have to switch to my Windows partition)?

Well a quick search in Synaptic shows Scrabble, and Scribble.
ttp://packages.ubuntu.com/cgi-bin/search_packages.pl?keywords=scrabble&searchon=names&subword=1&version=feisty&release=all

Apparently in Gutsy they have added Scribble, and it looks like it's the same program, just a newer version so Scrabble in Feisty is 1.9 and Scribble in Gutsy is 1.10.

Unfortunately it's completely text based.

ProScrabble (http://logical-games.mcctm.com/scrabble.html)
Instructions to install Quackle (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=433424&highlight=quackle)
Play online at Internet Scrabble Club (http://www.isc.ro)
Or at Scrabulous.com (http://www.scrabulous.com)

One day soon my website will consolidate all this information. Can you tell I like Scrabble?
