View Full Version : Multi cd games - how to change cd?

Has anyone found the solution? My son played old Baldur's Gate and it uses several cds. But you cannot eject cd with the button on the cd-rom and you cannot ctrl-Tab as well to get desktop. Any ideas?

ctrl-tab-f1 to drop to the terminal, and then run eject?

Isn't it ctrl-alt-f1?

BTW. he may not be able to eject the cd since hal may consider it being used (the game is running), however it's worth trying.

Ya, I did think of the hal issue, but its still worth trying. Besides, since the game wants to change cds, it should (hopefully) have closed all files it opened from the cd ..

it works fine with sudo, thanks a lot...
