View Full Version : Planning for Ohio Linux Fest

In tonight's meeting, we have decided to ahead with planning for the Ohio Linux Fest! We are going to get a booth for OLF, with the Gold level costing at around $1250 (which means we have quite a bit of money to raise by September!).

We put a Wiki page on the LoCo wiki to help gather ideas and plan for OLF. Check it out here (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/OhioTeam/OLF). Also feel free to reorganize the content (it was put together very quickly).

$1250 is alot of bread to come up with. Time to start selling old hardware... lol


I've got 2 laptops running Kubuntu Edgy, I'd be happy to bring...
I dunno where I'd sleep up there, but I'd be willing to go. :)

Also, there are hotels that are aware of the festival, and you can make reservations at them at http://www.ohiolinux.org/hotel.html
Otherwise, I could probably have 1, maybe 2 people crash at my house, which is 4 miles from the Convention Center.

Sorry I haven't been at any of the meetings lately. Been pretty busy. Unfortunately the logs haven't been kept up-to-date, so I can't read them either :(

I will try to donate something soon.

I got a Dell Ubuntu computer recently. After fighting with it, upping to Gutsy and fighting some more I got it working now! :guitar:
