pcsx load game via cmd line

i was impressed how well pcsx handles my old ps games.

now i wanted to integrate it into mythtv, but I find no vaild documentation on how to invoke pcsx so it immeditly loads&starts a given iso / cd-rom.

from the man page it seems i should do smth like this:

/usr/games/pcsx -nogui -runcdbios /media/hdd2/resevil.iso

but then i get a file-dialog. i tried a lot of different options, none load the iso and start it.

any idea? or is this really broken and i will never be able to use pcsx with mythtv??

this is just a heads up, but if you're interested in ps1 emulation, there is good news! pSX (http://psxemulator.gazaxian.com/) is a new(er) emulator for the ps with great compatibility and something unique among ps emulators: its designed to be plugin free! i was surprised and glad that ps emulation had picked back up for linux. i'd encourage you to check it out if you're interested in ps emulation.

wow.... wow. pSX just works.

no "try plugin XY for game ABC"... pSX just works. the other emus (epsxe, pcsx,.. i tired alot) are dead to me.

controler works, CDs, ISOs, sound, video with opengl accel... it just works.

but one more thing... my original question:

the -f (fullscreen) switch doesnt seem to work with the linux version? do you have any idea on this? most pSX-forum people are windows users.. so i don't want to register/ask there.

wish i could help you with your question, but i don't know how to do that. my hunch is, that since the first linux version is 1.11 that documentation might only apply to windows as far as command line switches are concerned...

if i were you, i would have just emailed the author and asked the question that way since you only have one question.
