Over the last week i just got my new macbook and following a guide I have made it a tri boot system with ubuntu linux ver 6.06. I want to upgrade but reading over many of the posts i see problems with kernel panics. What can i do to avoid a kernel panic? also is there any danger of destroying my triboot if i upgrade. I'm afraid that it might rewrite some of the things i did to make it a triboot and refit might not be able to find the linux partition again.

I followed this guide. If there is anything special i have to do to make the upgrade work please tell me and what i can do to avoid a kernel panic. thanks.

¿ ¿ ? ?

¿ Upgrade your Ubuntu to Egdy ?

It depends ( if you have installed Automatix or other extra software you can have problems )

But I don't think It will destroy your system, less your booting scheme...

Where have you read about kernel panics ???
