Is there a FAQ or a Wiki page that describes how to install Ubuntu, or even some other kind of linux, or Intel Macs?

I don't know if there's an FAQ, but a bunch of HowTos are lying around. Here's one:
How to install Ubuntu 6.10 "Edgy Eft" on a MacBook (http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=290710)

I've also moved your post to its own thread, so you can get the attention you deserve.

What kind of Mac do you have, specifically? There's more online attention given to MacBook [Pro]'s right now, because of their popularity. Either way, however, yes, there's a lot of resources online concerning Ubuntu and Linux in general on MacIntels.

Thanks for moving this to its own thread, and for the link to the howto for the MacBook Pro.

I have an Intel Mac Mini. I'll try to go through the howto above and see if I can make it work. My impression that it's the booting and disk partitioning that causes problems, so the howto linked above will probably be enough to get me going.

I'll try to make it work this weekend, and I'll report back here on my progress.

I dont think theres any problems, Just put in the disc ,boot up and install, I may be wrong. wiki.onmac.net has a useful guide on triple booting on a mac.
