I dont know, I didnt want to request this as I haven't tested it. It's supposed to install themes and stuff from art.gnome.org

any thoughts about this. Could this make it to the backports? Is it necessary? :S

That is a great Gnome addition.
I just went ahead and installed it from source.

It works great. Downloads walls and themes on the fly.
Then automagically installs them as user-specific.

Nice find, thanks. :)

I think the idea is great, and If a customization center for gnome was made with these tools, it would be better.

I mean, have one app that is able to change your wallpaper, mouse pointer, windows borders, icons, splash screen, and metacity themes. And that same app to be able to download new wallpapers, mouse pointers, windows borders, icon sets, splash screens and metacity themes right from art.gnome.org.

This app would be a ++ :)

Waaaaaaaaay ahead of you guy. :) I've suggested it to the dev team for breezy. I've written the author and told him how awesome his project is, etc.

The next step is to bring him here, so that we can ALL praise him all the time, like we do with Amaranth. :)
