GPG Repository Warning

I am getting the following error on both of my ubuntu boxes when running apt-get update:

W: GPG error: http://us.archive.ubuntu.com edgy-updates Release: The following signatures were invalid: BADSIG 40976EAF437D05B5 Ubuntu Archive Automatic Signing Key <ftpmaster@ubuntu.com>
W: You may want to run apt-get update to correct these problems


Any ideas on how to fix the problem?

looks like the repo fixed itself. I tried another update and it worked w/o errors w/o me doing anything to my system.
