Ubuntu Feisty Herd 5

Hi to everyone, I'm new in this forum and I'm from Italy.
I want to install, with bootcamp, ubuntu feisty herd 5 on my macbook c2d. Who of you make this installation?

I just made some install attempts with the daily build on Herd 5's release date - this is not a good idea for you as there are some problems - I suspect this is why there has been no herd 5 announcement.

It'll be better to use Egdy.... try with it - i tried and I'm very happy !!

herd 5 kernel does not boot for my macbook c2d. But i'm using herd 4 with some updates except kernel

Strange... Herd 5 runs flawlessly here on a C2D... I'd give it a try.
