mouse problem

I have an nVidia 5200XFX if it matters. I have most games working right, ET works fine, however in Neverwinter Nights and when I tried a worldforge client, my mouse would lag a little. I know my computer can take it, its an AMD 2500, and I used to play NWN all the time when I ran Windows on it.

Any ideas as to why the mouse is acting up?
