Hey,

Would it be possible to add the Code button (the one that adds the [code ] tags) into the Quick Reply box? I often use the quick reply, and it's kind of a pain typing in [code ] tags manually. There is a lot of room for it to fit in, so, thought it would be a good idea to add it in!

I am rather used to typing in the code tag and would find a button useless.

Most likely this wont happen, but I'll check into it. Quick reply is meant for quick replies..

I came to ask the same thing, I almost always use the quick reply to write my posts as the forum sometimes lags so this is one less pageload everytime I post.
I do not think posting a code for simple commands is more than adding an image or quoting.

Thanks for looking into it.

If that is so, then please remove the Quote and other superfluous buttons. I use QR 90% of the time, and a code button would be very useful. CODE makes the post so much easier to read, otherwise laziness often prevails and an unformatted dump of text gets posted.

I am not sure of what is the problem.

I use the simple text editor always, no buttons at all. Removing features because others won't be added is silly.

If you don't take the time to format the post, then it is your choice. Anything worth reading should be easy to read.

This thread is old. The admins have heard it, and replied. The requested action wasn't taken, so this thread is moot.
