So, I was installing Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition, with a legal cd key and everything. For some reason, my 'legal' key wouldn't work, so I was looking through the files on the install cd and found a file called 'unattend.txt.' If you look at the bottom of this file, there is a line where you can find the ProductKey. It was very humorous.

I live in Lebanon. only companies have registered windows, all other people have faked serial numbers (unless alltogether with the PC/Laptop). I know its unethical at all even for MS products. but thats how people use windows here :)

same here in Romania, there are very very few legally registered desktops pcs with windows on them
