Hi,
Complete Linux/Ubuntu n00b here so please bear with me.
I recently installed Ubuntu without trouble to my desktop and I'd really like to use the Beryl 3d desktop, but all of the how-to guides I have seen are confusing the hell out of me and I have to admit I find the terminal rather intimidating.
Anyway, I came upon the script located here:
http://wiki.beryl-project.org/wiki/Install/Ubuntu/Edgy/nVIDIA#Automatic_installation
And was wondering if anyone has had any feedback on whether it is a viable install alternative for the Ubuntu n00b? From what I gather it will completely automate the process of installing Nvidia drivers and beryl for me, and i would rather use this than messing up my install.
Many thanks in advance.
