I installed this recently, and it works fine, a bit slow to load but thats it. However, when I complete the first training mission it wont let me go onto the next one, is this because I'm behind a firewall, so can't connect to update the jacket thingy? Although shooting the red things is fun, it gets a bit boring after a while, Kinda sucks if thats all I can do.

Yeah, I have done that, it must be because I can't connect to the server. Ah well, America's army shall just have to wait till I go home from uni.

In that case it may be a firewall and/or proxy. I haven't played AA yet, so I don't know the ports required to be open. You can probably fine them on the site.

Yeah, but I unfortunately do not have access to open ports on the university network firewall. I'm going home in 2 weeks, so I'll just wait till then.

I have similar pboblem, I have no forewall's installed. If the Ubuntu installer installed one. And I have account in americans army. But still it says that connection timed out...
