In our school we use 6.06 server for a proxy/filter with Dansguardian and Squid. I'd be interested to know if any other UK schools use any flavour of Ubuntu either as a desktop or server and if the latter what for.

Haha! Just realised how offtopic my post was - University rather than school and an altered Suse distro rather than Ubuntu - that will teach me to read the first post more accurately.
