What's up with Nexhuiz?

My PC is capable of playing Halo quite well, but apparently doesn't match up the standards of Nexhuiz (in either Windows or Linux). Is there something wrong with the software, or is there just something I'm missing? :confused:

What does the game do?

Do it run? or runs slowly?

It runs until I try actually start up a match or watch a demo. Then the graphics glitch horribly, the game slows down, and I can barely exit out before the computer rolls over and dies. And yes, my graphics card drivers are up-to-date in both Windows and Linux. :(
