View Full Version : Keep losing gamma setting in Tremulous

I just installed Tremulous and found it to be way too dark to see. To correct this I set the gamma on my Nvidia card to 2.25 from 1.00. While exploring the first map yesterday I had no problems. Today, while exploring the second map, the card keeps losing the setting after about 10-15 minutes. This makes the screen so dark that nothing but a few light sources can be seen. Any thoughts on this?
Thanks,
Patrick K.

wow, I also have the same problem, but in my case the gamma don't drop back after a while, I have to manually restore it.
but, indeed its too dark to play without adjusting the gamma
I remember back in dapper the brightness option actually worked, so no gamma changing there

Resetting it to normal after the game doesn't bother me. But it is a very dark game. I find it unplayable.
