I am having a serious problem installing anything with Automatix, It seems like all the repositories are broken. Using Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy, just reinstalled tonight.
Here is my sources.list, taken from the ubuntu wiki guide.

Automatix fails to install basically anything. The main reason I use it is to obtain the multimedia/dvd codecs and streamline my initial installs. This really hasn't been a problem until now.
Every multimedia codec package/mplayer download I have tried on automatix has yielded a broken package error but it still shows as installed in Automatix. This is obviously not the case.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
Just tired to download Kubuntu Desktop from Synaptic and I got this:

Depends: digikam but it is not going to be installed
