just start the Gnome bar for it. I use the Gnome bar in XFCE4 EVERY day.

Err, GNOME and XFCE both support the notification area spec, so it should Just Work (tm).

how do i just start the gnome bar, how much memory does it take beyond the standard xfce, and the notifcation area is not wher GTK wifi is setup in it use the gnome bar and some python binding

the only reason i ask about the memory is becasue i use konq, it take up enough memory as it is

It doesn't use that much RAM. I do this on an old computer of mine that only has 128mb.

run this command:

gnome-panel
