Is it possible to use bootcamp to install xubuntu? If so, how do I go about doing this? I have installed refit and bootcamp, burned the xubuntu alternate cd (regular will not verify, as well as ubuntu regular will not verify through disk utility). Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I put the CD in the drive, hold down C, expect to see the xubuntu install options, but it goes straight to the refit screen. I choose boot from legacy os, and it says it cant find a bootable device.

Use Disk Utility to burn the CD. It's likely a burn issue. Also, if that doesn't' work try zapping the pram: Apple-option-P-R hold down when first starting your computer.

I've been using disk utility, and I tried the pram reset, still no luck. This really is a waste of CDs.
