I was just wondering if anyone out there has gotten battlefield 2142 to run under Ubuntu, and if so, how did you get it to work?

well, i'm trying out transgaming's cedega to get it to work. No luck using wine.
i got it to:
install
start up
unfortunately it crashes right after it starts up.
its officially supported by transgaming, but poorly, as by running it under cedega, you run the risk of having punkbuster perm ban your account....

It works for me using Cedega but not as smooth as it is in windows. I wasn't able to get voice support for it so I'm still dual booting until they work on it a little bit more.
I was able to play on multiplayer (punkbuster) servers without any problems.

My aim is to eventually move permanently over to Linux but I reckon I'll always have a dual boot just so I can play BF2142!
