Defcon Problems in Wine

I am running the defcon demo in Wine, it worked find as I went through the tutorial, when I began working with ships I got weird graphics as soon as I clicked on them. I have turned off all of the graphics options I could find. I attached a screen shot. Any ideas?

There is NATIVE linux version available, you should try it :P no "emulation" is needed.
