I've noticed that a lot of people use CODE and /CODE tags to highlight command line actions. Is there a shortcut for this, or are these users just used to typing in the formatting commands?

I just type the tags in. It is faster (for me) than moving the mouse about.

Choose the "post reply" button (bottom left of last post), you'll get more buttons than the "quick reply". It's the # symbol ;)

I see it now, I never hovered over it because I associated # with numbers. I do most of my formatting after I've typed, so entering tags as I type seemed like a PITA.

Then highlight the text you want to place between tags, and hit the # button ;)
