no sound in games

I get no sound in Americas Army or the UT2003 demo, but music plays fine in XMMS? Im pretty new to linux so you might need to explain a bit more if you have a solution, ive tried the "HOWTO: Hear multiple sounds using Both ESD & ALSA" and that didn't work, thanks :-|

I don't often play in linux, but if I remember right I had to kill all sound servers, because the games used ALSA or OSS directly. Try a killall esd

there were sound work in fedora
