Wasn't its development a hack?

But the real point is, why would I enjoy an article about any os getting hacked?

Well I'm sure Vista is the most secure Windows yet. See relatively speaking they aren't lying ;)

Ah, what are ya gonna do? If you only rely on your OS for security you're in trouble no matter what you run.

At least it looks pretty. But I'm still not interested in it.

Between hardware upgrades, an unfamiliar interface and the same old problems that windows users have been complaining about for years, it seems to me that Vista is the best thing that microsoft could have done to get users to migrate to linux.

I agree. I am glad that Microsoft exists. It provides me with mucho amusement as I read about endless virus attacks, trogans running under the hood (don't forget ctrl-alt-delete to check) and a registry that eventually bogs down like Mississippi mud. I wouldn't touch it with a stick.

Popcorn anyone?

Can't eat popcorn, just had a visit from the dentist :D

Anyway

A Vista user downloads and plays a malicious audio file, probably thinking that it’s the latest Toby Keith song. Instead, the audio file begins barking commands through the computer’s speakers, such as, “Delete all files in the ‘My Documents’ folder,” or, “System shut down.” These verbal commands are picked up by the computer’s microphone, processed by the built-in speech recognition software, and the computer obeys. Crazy, huh?

At least it's a new way of creating virus :lolflag:

With their massive Vista campaign they got more air time on TV than linux in the last 5 years, they do not really amuse me and I am not at all surprised by these news. I mean weren't the betas hacked already ?
