Install on a 9600/G4 700

Hi All,

I know from reading the instal docs that ubuntu does not support old worl macs. But I was just wondering if anyone around here had tried installing it on an old world mac and had any luck.

sorry, i have no solution but that topic interests me too, have a 7500 with sonnet g4 450mhz upgrade card and would love to make this my ubuntu-linux machine...anyone an idea if this is possible at all?
