I replaced Dapper with Edgy, and now Wine is not how I like it. I use a virtual desktop with 1280x1024, just like my Gnome desktop, and I use hide buttons on my panels.

In Dapper, the virtual desktop in Wine was a clean green area that covered the screen, but in edgy it's been ruined by a titlebar at the top that pushes the rest of the virtual desktop a bit down and chops off an equal bit at the bottom. How do I get rid of the Wine titlebar like in Dapper?

Otherwise, I'd have to run games without a virtual desktop. The question then becomes, how do I get back to Gnome if a game crashes while running fullscreen?

I too would love to get rid of that bar ... It's weird, because I get better framerates in virtual desktop mode then I do full screen, not to mention my mouse seems to work better (probably because from what I've read framerates affect your mouse in openGL mode).

/bump to solve this!

Try to hit Alt-F3..

Normally it gives you the option to fill your screen :D
