I'm planing on getting a new video card. I've narrowed my choices down to these 2 cards.

The first one is overclocked but doesn't mention OpenGL And costs more.

The second isn't overclocked but has this to say about OpenGL plus costs less.
OpenGLŪ 2.0 Optimizations and Support
Ensures top-notch compatibility and performance for OpenGLŪ applications.

They are the same chipset so shouldn't the OpenGL support be the same? Anyways which do you think is better to buy and why?

Thankyou for your time.

Get the cheaper one. They are both the EXACT same card, just different manufacturers, and the BFG on is overclocked.

I suggest you get the PNY one, it is cheaper, SAYS right there that it supports OpenGL (even though the other one does too), and wiil probably run cooler because it is not overclocked.

The difference is in the driver and the settings. You will not be using the Windows driver so they are the same. Some difference in warranty perhaps, but I would get the cheaper one.

THERE is no difference in video cards! ....get the cheaper one....ya the BFG one is over clocked but by only 50 mhz it wont change the preformence of teh card

Get BFG. They are a well known manufacturer of NV cards. I've only had trouble with 1 card from them.

I also suggest you get the PNY. The difference between the cards is not significant enough to warrant the purchase of the BFG.

4 out of 5 say the PNY is the better card!!!

Thankyou all.
