I was wondering if someone knew of any good howto's for running a Savage dedicated server. I'm having goofy problems trying to set one up. Also, it'd be nice to know know what the .cfg's should look like.
I installed the native linux cilent + updates following the howto at http://czarism.com/how-to-install-savage-on-ubuntu-debian-linux
and when I try and run dedicated_server.sh it gives the following complaint:
Your startup.cfg doesn't include dedicated_server 1!
So, I add dedicated_server 1 to my startup.cfg and it complains with the following:
dedicated_server.sh: 13: dedicated_server: not found
So then I remove the underscore and it just complains about 'dedicated_server 1' not being in my .cfg. I also tried running 'dedicated_server 1' and 'dedicated server 1' from the command line and neither worked.
Been searching online but haven't had any luck.
Any help would be appreciated.
