Hi,

Is there any Labview or VEE alternative in Linux that I can use for my lab? I am just thinking of converting a few computers to run in my lab.

Thanks

Is there any free options because the PC's are old and I would just like to make them run some equipments so as not to put them into waste bin.

I think labview is only supported for major rpm distros.

I think labview is only supported for major rpm distros.

I'm curious about this too. Even though it may only be supported for major rpm distros, has anyone gotten it to run ok on Ubuntu or any other Debian based distro?

I found this thread on the NI forum. It looks like people are having success with the newer versions of Labview on Ubuntu.

I haven't keep track of this thread for a long time. Is there any open source instrumental data acquisition program?

Maybe time has changed
