World of Warcraft patch error :(

I successfully installed WoW on my new installation of Ubuntu, got my 3d acceleration working so the game should at least run, sound is working. Installation went smoothly with an error at the end, but according to transgaming this error is expected and not hindering to the app itself. The game runs up past the login screen and I can run the patcher. It downloads the patch, but then gives me this error...

Program: C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\BNUpdate.exe
Function: CreateProgessDialog failed

This is after the patch is completely downloaded and I click "Finish". At this point, the patch would normally install, but it does not, so when I restart WoW it simply keeps telling me to restart and patch, and sends me back to the broken patcher.

Any suggestions?
