I've a hp dv6116eu phoenix bios and all the noapic options had no effect and I could boot only one in eight to ten times.
Now after trying for days to sort it, I managed to boot and just install just the feisty kernel-100% better and no broken packages.
How should I report this bug and others should be made aware of it, as it would seem that other motherboard models and distro's have a Big issue with this!!!!
