As I'm sure most know, Windows Vista was released recently. With it come many brand new innovations. As everyone here at Ubuntu forums seems nice and fair, it is only right to give credit where credit is due. With that, please give your favorite Vista innovation(s). I'll start:
It's a toss-up between "Gadgets," Vista's new, innovative name for OSX's "Widgets" and our own "Desklets", Vista's 3d desktop effects, which have been provided by Beryl and Compiz for years now, their new ways of combatting piracy, including installation of spyware on a user's computer, and their nine different ways to turn off a system.
I considered making this a poll, but decided that, as Vista's *innovations* are seemingly endless, this thread should be open-ended as well.
