Hi all just a quick question, I noticed in the past few days that the speed of the forums is just about at "dial up" speed sooo slow to load. Is there maintenance going on or something, just curios......

on dialup it will be slow,on broadband there is lag too-guess it's users load and bandwidth/hardware:KS

Yeah i have noticed a massive difference in the last few days, i am not on dial up but it sure feels like it only on the forums, our popularity is growing i suspect!

We SMASHED our record 2 days ago.... 8762 users online at once... we're definitely still growing :)

Between you and me I've heard rumours of a request for a hardware upgrade... obviously rumours and I don't know anything :)

Just checking stats...

Damn, rate the way we are growing we are going to need some heavy duty hardware !!

I put in a request to canonical to get more ram for our db server. That should speed things up a lot when it gets installed. Until then, just keep trying :(

I rarely get more than 1 error a day.

I have never gotten an error but once and I have been on these forums since jan of 2005.
