Hello every one, I download ubuntu for powerpc and I will like to know if i can burn the iso file in windows because I dont have a cd burner in my mac.

yes you can use any cd writing software. just make sure you use the option to burn the iso to the disk, not as a file on the disk. (can someone phase that better?).

also remember to hold down c to boot from cd.

http://ubuntuforums.org/forumdisplay.php?f=59 is quite good for powerpc specific questions.

Thanks for your quick answer, I will try to burn the cd today (if a dont fall to sleep in my desk) and install it in my computer....

Burn the ISO as a disc image. Do not simply drag the ISO to the disc and burn it. Dragging the ISO to the disc and burning it as a file on the disc just makes a CD with the ISO on it, rather than a cd out of the ISO.
