in ubuntu i have noticed i have a large collection of beautiful member wallpapers
generated by the folks in the art section. now as a user of ubuntu, i would love to see all of these wallpapers at random intervals, say like it changes every 5 minutes randomly.

How can i get my ubuntu wallpaper to change every 5 minutes, or so to a random image in a specified folder, as this would be an amasing feature.

i am running gnome, have a warty box so please go gently.

gnome doesn't have this feature built in, so you will have a to install a program. You can search for a program called wallpapoz in this forum or gnome-apps.org
