Diagram Software

Hi all,

I've been searching for some diagraming software and couldn't find anything good. It's a pity. All these windows-based graphing/diagraming products are so bloated, I'm just sick of them. On linux, there's nothing good that I've found(dia doesn't cut it). Does anyone have any suggestions about this? Something powerful but not bloated, but still attractive.

have you tried
inkscape, a general vector graphics program, make fast development at the moment
xfig, makes good technical drawings, but usually a pain to use.
dia, fairly simple
open office draw

dia rocks. try that.

You could also download KOffice and try Kivio. If you have used Visio, it is very similar.
