Does anyone know of a program that is simple and can stitch together a panoramic picture? The only post I found on this topic is this one here. (http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=33110&highlight=panoramic+picture) Which was outdated I might add. I didn't try anything yet, I'm holding out for a more up-to-date answer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hugin is the only one I know about, but it was already mentioned in the thread to which you linked. I'm going to try to get one of the various windows programs I have for this to work under WINE.

Hey thanks for the info. I guess I should have just searched the repos! Hugin is in the repos, and so is pandora that is a plugin for GIMP. I will give those two a try and let you know if they are worth the install time. Thanks.

Ok, the GIMP Plugin was simple and quick. The Hugin program might be nice for someone into making there own panoramic, but I just wanted something that would put the pictures together. sudo apt-get install pandora That did it for me!

Unfortunately for me, neither of them are available in the Dapper repositories. :(
(unless they are in backports, which I haven't yet checked...)

Oh, I'm on Edgy. Sorry, probably should have specified that when I said they were in the repos.
