View Full Version : Paused Printer

Hi,

I've just set up a new installation of Ubuntu Server Edgy, and whilst it all works fine, for some reason when I start/restart CUPS (either via a system reboot or by etc/init.d/cupsys restart) my default printer sets itself to paused, and I have to press the start button in the CUPS web interface to start it again. This poses no problem once its on, but it makes it a pain to have to remember to turn it on every time the machine is restarted.

Any ideas why this is or if there's a way I can change it to always be 'started' by default at startup?

Thanks
