Networking & Wireless section

okay, i thought i'd speak up and give some feedback regarding the networking & wireless forum. it's getting overwhelmed with fairly novice and demanding wireless help requests. it seems like every post is about someone wanting help getting their wireless working and more often than not, the problem is a simple fix, or there is a howto.

i propose splitting off Networking & Wireless into separate forums where wireless issues can be addressed separately or in tandem with wired ethernet as a part of internet connectivity, because it seems like some of the more complicated issues involving networking (that really need more expert help) are getting buried in the fray.

in my opinion, wireless is a luxury not a necessity, and it's frustrating to see the more complicated issues get buried because of the overflowing, and generally antagonistic tirade of wireless help demands.

I used to spend a lot of time in that section, no more, just got to tiring to sift through the same things over & over. Most of the questions have been answered many times over. Does not stop people PM'ing you though...

lol ... no, indeed it does not. i do try to weed through the junk to pull out the stuff that needs a bit more than a simple forum search to find the answer, but there's a LOT of weeds.
