I am having a terrible time trying to participate in these forums because I cannot see more than a few letters that I type in the message box. If this keeps up I will have to go back to windows to post messages.

What to do. thank you for your help.

You'll need to explain your problem more clearly - is this because of screen resolution, font appearance or speed? Or some other reason?

What browser are you using?

The message dialogue box is the width of either a few letters or sometimes it changes to a few words like now. Instead of the box being full size it becomes narrower or wider.
I use Opera browser.
Right now I can see three words at a time in terms of width. Sometimes the box changes so that I can only see a few letters at a time.
It does not seem to be a font or resolution problem. Java script perhaps? I have it on in case that was the problem.
Thank you for your prompt reply.

I just opened Firefox and the message dialogue box is fine. And works just fine. I am typing this
An Opera problem by the look of it then.
I will try Konqueror, Yes works fine there though very slow.

So its an Opera setting that must not be set correctly.
