Why can't I see my sig?

I'm sure this is a really obvious, head-slappingly stupid question, but....why can't I see the simple one-line forum sig that I have created for my account? I have enabled the "Show your signature" option, and I can see the sig in my profile, but it doesn't show up in a post?

Ooh...that's annoying. I can see it this time.

Now I feel like someone on the phone line to tech support, trying to convince people that I really do have an "intermittent" fault :)
