no rdev?

From what I can tell there is no rdev binary provided in the x86_64 util-linux package, although it is provided in the i386 version of this package. Does anybody know why this is the case, and/or how to get rdev source? Or has rdev been superceeded by something else that I am unaware of?

This seems really weird that rdev would be missing, but I can't seem to find it for x86_64 anywhere.
