View Full Version : Trash Applet

I just did a dist-upgrade to Hoary, and I am having this problem:

The trash applet was removed, if I want to re-install it it wants to remove gnome-applets, gnome-applets-data and ubuntu-desktop. I didn't do this.
The trash applet is in the panel, it shows when files are removed and in the trash, but I am unable to drag files into the trash like I could before upgrading.

Is this a bug? Did I do something wrong? Can I fix this? Thanks!

The trash applet is working but drag and drop isn't anymore this is a gnome 2.9 bug in hoary.

Trashapplet is now a part of gnome-applets package.
Remove or better purge trashapplet package

/usr/lib/gnome-applets/trashapplet
