Since I'm new here, I'll spend a lot of time searching for past answers. On the search page, it says

Our search system has a number of options:

All Words - search all words you list in the search box
Any Words - search for any of the words in the search box
Phrase - search for the complete phrase you type in
Boolean - advanced option allows:

Problem is - I can't find the options. The only options that show up in my browser are

How do you select the other ones?

AFAIK it does all that automatically except for where it gives you an example search that would invoke that option.

If it's automatic, what will it do with a query like:
joomla drupal

To me, it seems a bit hard for the search engine to deduce whether i want to search for all or any of the words in that case...

It does both and collates all results.

Doesn't work for me. If I search for joomla, I get >100 results. Same thing if I search for drupal.

If I search for "joomla drupal" (without the quotes), I get 27 results so it obviously didn't do both ("all" and "any"). If I search for ""joomla | drupal" I also get 27 results, so it doesn't do a boolean search even if it encounters boolean operators.

A bug, perhaps?
